Eve Wants Lil Kim 'To Stop' Nicki Minaj Feud

As Philadelphia rapper and actress Eve continues to slowly insert herself back into the spotlight with her first studio album in nine years to be released by year’s end, the Grammy Award winning star had a few choice words about the ongoing beef between the wildly popular Nicki Minaj and rap veteran Lil Kim.

The “Who’s That Girl” rapper was a guest on the BBC Radio 1xtra Tim Westwood show with guest host Kerry D alongside Bun B and Englishman rapper Lethal B during a break before Eve and Bun B head to the Gumball 3000 rally – which will take the rappers from London to Istanbul, Turkey in eight days. After exchanging pleasantries, Eve spoke to the Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj war on wax, and called for more balance in the male-dominated genre of hip hop.

“You know, it's definitely a nice group of females that's out representing, but because I come from hip-hop, I need more females in hip-hop," said Eve. "Nicki definitely is holding the flag down, and a lot of people be wanting me to hate just because that's how girls supposed to do in hip-hop, but I'm loving everything she does. But we need more females, man. There's too much testosterone in the hip-hop game."

Eve then spoke directly to Kerry D’s question about Lil Kim. “I need her to stop. If I was Kim's friend, I'd be like, yo. ‘cause she's Kim, period," said Eve. "So she never has to feed [into the beef]. She shouldn't. It's bad. It's not a good look. If I was her friend, I'd tell her, yo, just come back bigger and better. The best way to get at people is to do you better than you've ever done you. So that's it.”

Eve is intending to release her fourth studio album Lip Lock later this year and features production from her Ruff Ryder compatriot Swizz Beatz. Eve is also featured on Swizz’s first drop from his upcoming album Haute Living.

Nicki Minaj Addresses Fervor Over Her Behind

Sporting one of the most infamous and oft discussed backsides in the entertainment industry since perhaps Jennifer Lopez, Young Money diva Nicki Minaj has grown to accept that the public’s fascination with her rear end is part of the trappings of her fame. Appearing on MTV2’s Full Throttle series with host Funkmaster Flex, the Pink Friday starlet graciously answered Flex’s question about her bum – even as he tried throw in the public’s speculative comments about Nicki getting her backside altered.

“I don’t mind the question. I don’t mind the fascination, it’s all good,” said Nicki after laughing at Flex’s inquiry. “I’ve said this before. It doesn’t define me, so I try my best not to focus my energy on it. Like if you guys focus energy on it [or] spend energy on it, I don’t mind it. If people are sitting in a barbershop talking about my butt, it’s conversational. That’s what people are gonna to do. As long as they’re talking about Nicki Minaj, I’m good.”

Of course, people are talking about far more than just Nicki Minaj’s ample assets as the Queens native recently finished the well-received "I Am Still Music" tour with Young Money captain Lil Wayne and is set to join pop star Britney Spears on the Femme Fatale tour in June. Nicki has also recently released a video for the track “Super Bass” – a whopping fifth single from her hot selling debut Pink Friday.

What are your thoughts on Nicki’s infamous backside?
