Amber Rose Retracts VIBE Cover Story

Stop the presses (literally), Amber Rose isn't a fan of her own VIBE cover story. Sharing one half of the publication's "Sexy Issue" with Rick Ross, the former strip pole dancer/video vixen/Wiz Khalifa's wifey, is calling foul ball on the mag citing multiple infractions within the interview that was the subject of many Hip-Hop conversations for the past week.

After reading the interview for the first time, yesterday the blond bombshell aired out her grievances with the magazine on her Twitter page.

"Just read “my” interview in @VibeMagazine half of the story was untrue & ridiculous! F##K that Cover F##K @VibeMagazine yall wrote a bunch of negative bullshit that I never said or did" Rose blasted the mag. "Yall don’t give a fuck that I have a Mom & Family thats gonna read that fake a-- sh-- I gave yall a truthful interview & Yall f##ked me."

Early last week previews of the interviews made it's round on the internet with saucy commentary that saw the beauty spilling juicy details about her past relationship with Kanye West and current beau Wiz Khalifa.

"People think me and Kanye are enemies, and we are not enemies. He wants the best for me, still," she said in the magazine. "Let me say this: I still love Kanye. I will always love him as a person. I will always love him for what he's done for me. I still always have that soft spot in my heart for him. I am not in love with him. I do not look at him in a sexual way anymore. I'm in love with someone else. I still love him as a person and want him to find happiness like I did. Everyone deserves that."

Apparently the usually tight-lipped Amber Rose will now resort back to her quiet ways after her words were allegedly taken out of context.

"I’m so sick of keeping my mouth shut I didn’t ask for this life it was handed to me I was nothing but nice to everyone I spoke to @ Vibe."

Drake Will Use Memorial Day Weekend As 'Research' For Take Care

Tags: MTV Shows

All work and no play makes Drake a dull boy. We've all heard that Drizzy has been putting the finishing touches on his sophmore album Take Care, but the Young Money rapper told MTV News that this weekend he will be partying and using the holiday to see how his upcoming LP will work in a club setting.

"So this is my first Memorial weekend really particpating this heavily," Drizzy said from the set of DJ Khaled's "I'm On One" video shoot in Miami. "I just want to get out there and touch the people, slap everybody's hand, see the women; just let them know im out here. Let them see me, because they havent seen me in a while."

It isn't all work however. Drake hints that will be observing the crowds and using his expirence to fine tune his album. "And I got this album coming it's called Take Care, so I just really want to get out here and check the climate. I wanna hear the records, see how everybody's moving, see what everybody's lovin', because I know I got a great body of work," he said. "I'm ready to give it away, I'm using this weekend as study research. I'll be getting as drunk as I can trying to fit in, doin' it like that."

On Friday Night (May 28), Drake, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and DJ Khaled wrapped the video for "I'm On One" and later that evening Weezy and his Young Money protege went to the famed King of Diamonds strip club in Miami. Drake says next he will be heading to Vegas for a pool party.

Young Jeezy And DJ Drama Take Over South Beach

Young Jeezy brought his Atlanta swag to South Beach this weekend, shutting down strip club King of Diamonds to celebrate the release of his newly minted mixtape The Real Is Back, hosted by DJ Drama. The project marks the reunion of two of Atlanta's biggest superstars since theirGangsta Grillz mixtape series. Hip-Hop's elite mixtape crownholder DJ Drama was also running the streets of Miami for the weekend with a myriad of events including a pool party with Young. Earlier today Dram spoke with MTV about the tape's release and the energy in the streets.

"Two, three weeks ago we said we gotta make Memorial Day Weekend" Drama told MTV about the Real Is Back release. I think a lot of these weekends like Memorial Day, All-Star, it's important cause everybody will be in the same place."

Last night the Snowman and about 100 of his goons took over the Miami hotspot reminiscent of Big Meech, ordering tons of bottles and tossing thousands of dollars at the venue's pole dancers. Other guests for Jeezy's gala included G.O.O.D. Music artist CyHi The Prynce and Worldstar founder Q.

Aside from his mixtape release Jeezy is flying high with the success of his single "Ballin' " featuring Lil Wayne, making a clear path for his album.

Last year, Jeezy released "Lose My Mind," featuring Plies, which was supposed to be the lead single from TM 103, the follow-up album to 2008's The Recession. Another pair of singles — "All White Everything," featuring Yo Gotti, and "Jizzle," featuring Lil Jon — were also released, but the announced September 28 due date for the album came and went with no new record in stores or iTunes.

"It took me damn near a year and some change to make this album," Jeezy told MTV News. "Me and Shawty Redd went back to the ... basics. We got in this n---a basement, I moved in with that n---a for three months to finish this album," Jeezy said. "No nothing, no clubbing. Just straight grinding, all day and all night."

Dr. Dre And 50 Cent Single On The Way This Weekend?

While no concrete release date has been set for Dr. Dre's long overdue Detox album, two official singles from the project "Kush" and "I Need A Doctor" have made it's way to the airwaves, giving a clear indication the album will drop this year. Earlier today estranged protege 50 Cent let the cat out the bag that another record, this one featuring himself was slated to drop for the Memorial Day weekend.

"I did a joint with dre for his album that's crazy" 50 tweeted. "They were suppose to put it out this weekend but you never know with dre."

Responding to a follower, 50 was the latest Dre confidant to confirm Detox would be delivered this year.

"@50cent when is Dre album detox comin?" user @bigseano84 questioned. "Soon dre got some heat" the Queens MC replied.

During his twitter frenzy 50 also elaborated on the progress of his next album.

"Iv been working I'm recording a lot for this album. I'm gonna keep recording cause I want to top get rich or die trying. You can be mad cause you have to wait but you will be happy when it comes. I want it to be perfect."

After being challenged if he can top his highly successful debut album Get Rich Or Die Trying, 50 acknowledged it was a tough challenge yet vowed the upcoming album will stand the test of time.

"I know its my best album but its long 19 cuts" said 50. "I'm not bothered by doubt people have expressed that to me all my life. It only enhances the feeling of victory in the end."

Nas Titles New Album 'Life Is Good'

Tags: MTV Shows

Nas Escobar, one of Hip-Hops most celebrated MCs is ready to make his re-entrance into the rap game with his newly titled album "Life Is Good." The Queensbridge king made the announcement earlier today via his Twitter account. "My album title is - Life Is Good" God's son wrote on Twitter.

Recently MTV News caught up with Nas where the MC elaborated on his highly praised rap flow.

"I like to stay doing me," Nas said. "I think the style is timeless. I hear it in a lot of people and it reminds me how timeless it is, the kind of style I do. And once I hit it, and it's right, it's golden. If I'm a little off with it? Ahh, I can't even listen to the song ever again. I'm just trying to perfect it so that it's right and it doesn't sound like I'm just doing something I [already] did. It feels fresh; like this is the first time I'm ever doing it."

Critics have heaped critical praise on Nas ever since his Illmatic debut was deemed a classic back in 1994. But the "Hate Me Now" MC has still been endured his fair share of criticism over the years. And he may be his own worst critic.

"My last record, I can pick a song or two, or three that I could have did without," Nas said, referring to 2008's Untitled. "And there's songs that I left off the album that I should have put on [it]. We all go through that. So with this record I want to be able to put it on and listen to the whole thing."

Drake, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross And DJ Khaled Shoot 'I'm On One' In Miami

Yesterday evening rap powerhouse MCs Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and Drake joined DJ Khaled for the visuals to his soon to be summer smash "I'm On One" in Miami. The Gil Green clip, also co-directed by Young Money artist Drake was shot on a blocked off strip in downtown Miami on Flagler street. YMCMB executive/artists Birdman and Mack Maine make cameo appearances in the video as well. According to Drizzy, the concept for the video game from the genius mind of the Canadian sensation. The video is just the first of many Hip-Hop events expected to flood the South Beach area for the holiday weekend.

The video comes just a week after Drake dismissed reports that he sent a few subliminal shots at Jay-Z on the record. In addition to lines on "I'm On One," another song leaked from Drake titled "Dreams Money Can Buy" led some to believe Drizzy was going after Hov.

“And I feel like lately I went from top five to remaining five/My favorite rappers either lost it or they ain’t alive” Drake raps on "Dreams."

“Hov diss? Hov of all people has not lost it...that’s god body flow” Drake tweeted clearing up the rumors.

Although YM captain Lil Wayne may feel differently going at Jay-Z on wax following the god MC's "Baby money" line, Drake has steered clear of any potential rivalry with the titanic rapper.

Eve Wants Lil Kim 'To Stop' Nicki Minaj Feud

As Philadelphia rapper and actress Eve continues to slowly insert herself back into the spotlight with her first studio album in nine years to be released by year’s end, the Grammy Award winning star had a few choice words about the ongoing beef between the wildly popular Nicki Minaj and rap veteran Lil Kim.

The “Who’s That Girl” rapper was a guest on the BBC Radio 1xtra Tim Westwood show with guest host Kerry D alongside Bun B and Englishman rapper Lethal B during a break before Eve and Bun B head to the Gumball 3000 rally – which will take the rappers from London to Istanbul, Turkey in eight days. After exchanging pleasantries, Eve spoke to the Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj war on wax, and called for more balance in the male-dominated genre of hip hop.

“You know, it's definitely a nice group of females that's out representing, but because I come from hip-hop, I need more females in hip-hop," said Eve. "Nicki definitely is holding the flag down, and a lot of people be wanting me to hate just because that's how girls supposed to do in hip-hop, but I'm loving everything she does. But we need more females, man. There's too much testosterone in the hip-hop game."

Eve then spoke directly to Kerry D’s question about Lil Kim. “I need her to stop. If I was Kim's friend, I'd be like, yo. ‘cause she's Kim, period," said Eve. "So she never has to feed [into the beef]. She shouldn't. It's bad. It's not a good look. If I was her friend, I'd tell her, yo, just come back bigger and better. The best way to get at people is to do you better than you've ever done you. So that's it.”

Eve is intending to release her fourth studio album Lip Lock later this year and features production from her Ruff Ryder compatriot Swizz Beatz. Eve is also featured on Swizz’s first drop from his upcoming album Haute Living.

Lil Wayne Debuts New Single, Fans React

It can be said that Lil Wayne marches to the beat of his own drum, and the Young Money head honcho proves that point once again with the latest track "How To Love" from his forthcoming album.

After dropping two high energy offerings in “6 Foot 7 Foot” and “John (If I Should Die)” from his ninth studio album Tha Carter IV, Wayne pulls a gutsy move by employing the Auto Tune vocal plug in and opting to croon his way into the hearts of his adoring public. The single “How To Love” is produced by Detail and features hushed guitar strumming and some rather subdued lyrics from Weezy F. as he showcases his sensitive side with this song empathizing with and also catering to the ladies.

Karen Civil had the exclusive this morning (May 26) and soon after, the Internet exploded with comments on Twitter and across the blogosphere with many fans not sure what to make of Wayne’s latest foray into vocalizing.

“Well, this is weak, not even a good radio song. U can’t play this in a club or nothing, said a commenter on Miss Info’s blog about the track. Another user kept it succinct with “Two Thumbs Down!”

However some fans of Wayne’s past pop work were supportive of the new direction and gave glowing reviews.

“#icantfront this lil wayne how to love is knockin,” tweeted user Young Quise. User Herbsaac added, “I can dig it.. Lollipop of C4.. Gotta get that pop stuff in to get sales !!” – remembering that Wayne has employed this tactic of radio-friendly singles in times past.

One reluctant Twitter fan hopes that Lil Wayne’s latest single isn’t the precursor of things to come. “I hope this doesn't mean Drake, Nicki and Wayne will put out an R&B album together,” tweeted user Q of TMB.

Snoop Dogg Explains His Theory Of Dr. Dre's 'Detox' Delay

Dr. Dre's long anticipated Detox album appears to finally be on the brink of being released courtesy of the good his two singles "Kush" featuring Snoop Dogg and Akon and "I Need A Doctor" featuring labelmate Eminem. Prior to the release of the two tracks fans began to question the status of the album after heads have waited for almost over a decade for Detox. Throughout the various album release date changes, album collaborators and close friends in Dre's inner circle from Kendrick Lamar, to Em, to Snoop Dogg have all testified that Detox is indeed on the way. But after a much publicized release of "I Need A Doctor," not to mention an a Showtime boxing special that premiered a new Dre track, the Detox train appears to have slowed down before pulling into the train station.

Close friend and protege' Snoop Dogg has been by Dre's side since his breakout debut album The Chronic and his latest effort The Chronic 2001. Recently the West Coast king who has experienced his own share of album delays over the course of his music career gave his assessment of what could be holding up Dre's prized posession.

"What we're accustomed to hearing from Dr. Dre is the brand new next best everything, and right now people are not getting that" Snoop told Time Westwood. "He knows that... he's a perfectionist, until he gets that he's not going to release it because he doesn't want the scrutiny of people saying 'ah I waited this long for that?'

While using strong words of caution Snoop suggested Dre's current support system is partly at fault for the delay.

"He's got a strong work ethic, but I'mma say this and I don't know if it's gonna ruffle any feathers" Snoop continued. "I just think the wrong people are in the environment. When he made records that were hit records in the past, D.O.C., Snoop Dogg, RBX, Kurupt -- it's like it's pieces that's not there that need to be there. And I'll say D.O.C. and Snoop Dogg is the backbone. When you take those two out of the equation it's not gonna work. You need to put them two back into the situation and let us mastermind and the project like we did Chronic and 2001. That's what's missing."

Birdman Questions The Competition

"I don't see nobody..."

In a recent interview with XXL, Baby, rapper and co-founder of Cash Money records stated that he doesn't understand where the competition went? He's been in the game for a while and for a time there were a lot of people "doing it," he says "When I look around, through my years and my time, you know, the game, it was a lot in the field, a lot of people doing it, And I look around, and it's like, where the f*** did everybody go? Baby has managed to stay way ahead of the game with promoting protege and "son" Lil Wayne to run Young Money. Baby says "he [Wayne]was like, "Let me handle, it." At the time, me as an artist, losing my sister and everything I was going through personally, I was just like, 'Go ahead, I'ma just support what you gon' do. You can handle it.' And I took a step back. Probably was the [smartest] move I ever made in my life was to let him go 'head." Other artists that are in his ranking would be Jay-z, 50 Cent, and Diddy.

Is his statement about the competition accurate? Where did everybody go?

Nas says "My kids are my everything I got the best kids in the whole world. Nicki Minaj Addresses Fervor Over Her Behind

Sporting one of the most infamous and oft discussed backsides in the entertainment industry since perhaps Jennifer Lopez, Young Money diva Nicki Minaj has grown to accept that the public’s fascination with her rear end is part of the trappings of her fame. Appearing on MTV2’s Full Throttle series with host Funkmaster Flex, the Pink Friday starlet graciously answered Flex’s question about her bum – even as he tried throw in the public’s speculative comments about Nicki getting her backside altered.

“I don’t mind the question. I don’t mind the fascination, it’s all good,” said Nicki after laughing at Flex’s inquiry. “I’ve said this before. It doesn’t define me, so I try my best not to focus my energy on it. Like if you guys focus energy on it [or] spend energy on it, I don’t mind it. If people are sitting in a barbershop talking about my butt, it’s conversational. That’s what people are gonna to do. As long as they’re talking about Nicki Minaj, I’m good.”

Of course, people are talking about far more than just Nicki Minaj’s ample assets as the Queens native recently finished the well-received "I Am Still Music" tour with Young Money captain Lil Wayne and is set to join pop star Britney Spears on the Femme Fatale tour in June. Nicki has also recently released a video for the track “Super Bass” – a whopping fifth single from her hot selling debut Pink Friday.

What are your thoughts on Nicki’s infamous backside?

The artist formerly known as Puff Daddy comes close, but doesn’t get the cigar at the number two spot with his 1997 posse cut all “It’s All About the Benjamins (Remix).”2Pac’s “California Love” (No.7) and Pete Rock and CL Smooth’s “They Reminisce Over You” (No.10) get ranked pretty high, while fan favorites like Ice Cube’s “No Vaseline” (No.58), The Lox’s “Money, Power & Respect” (No.117) and Luke’s “I Wanna Rock” (No.141) get props as well.

J. Cole Speaks on the Disadvantage of Signing With Jay-Z

Eminem Gets Game From Ice Cube On RapFix Live Tomorrow

Is Eminem ready to put down the mic and get back behind the cameras? Tomorrow during an exciting RapFix Live episode Eminem touches on not just his and partner Royce Da 5' 9" 's Bad Meets Evil EP, Hell: The Sequel but Shady also recalls advice he received from West Coast O.G. Ice Cube during the early stages of his acting career.

"I think Ice Cube said this one time; I think I heard him say this one time," Em told Sway during their "RapFix Live" interview, which will stream on MTV.com on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET. "If you can rap, if you can perform to the camera for singing and videos, it should be a pretty, fairly natural transition."

"I felt like having heard him say that was like, 'Oh, this may be fairly easy' — and it wasn't."

"It's a whole different thing, because you may be used to performing to the camera, but it's a whole different ball game when the music is off and you have lines that you need to say" Em continued. "It takes a minute to get used to."

Though there is no official word on when Eminem will return to the big screen in a starring role, the rapper has partnered up with fellow Detroit MC Royce Da 5'9" for their upcoming Bad Meets Evil EP, Hell: The Sequel.

Tune in to "RapFix Live" on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET, when Eminem and Royce sit with Sway to talk about the making of the EP, the future of Shady Records and Eminem's rap inspiration.

The countdown begins ... now!

Welcome To Heartbreak Hotel: Kanye West, The Ladies Man

Kanye West may be world renowned for his orchestrated productions, controversial outbursts and his expensive tastes in fashion. But the handsome and dapper rapper is also known for dating a bevy of drop-dead beauties over the course of his career as well.

Although supposedly single, it seems that Mr. West has not only cranked up the number of women he’s reportedly seen since his split last year with Amber Rose, but also tacking on some frequent flier miles after being caught in Cannes smooching with a Sports Illustrated model and dating an Albanian beauty pageant queen. RapFix takes a look back at the dating life of Kanye West from the beginning of his fame to his current place as a global superstar.

2004 – Sumeke Rainey dated Kanye West for years before his star began to rise, even playing a supportive role on his smash debut album The College Dropout and appearing on two tracks “The New Workout Plan” and “Get Em High” – and Kanye even mentioned Ms. Rainey’s late father in a verse on “Never Let Me Down.” As ‘Ye became more famous, the relationship eventually fizzled.

2004-5 – Brooke Crittendon, star of BET’s reality series Harlem Heights, and her relationship with Kanye was gossip blog fodder for a while especially after appearing together at the 2006 Grammy Awards parties and festivities. Well after the Syracuse University grad and former MTV employee split with Kanye, she found herself promoting the Harlem Heights show and defending her past with the famed producer in a slew of interviews.

2006-8 – Interior designer Alexis Phifer and Kanye were on the fast track to matrimony, and the couple was even featured in Harper’s Bazaar in 2007 in a feature spread on the rapper’s posh Los Angeles home. The engagement was ended on friendly terms in 2008.

2008-10 – The Amber Rose era found Kanye’s dating life under high scrutiny at all times as the blond bombshell was always by his side for runway-ready photo ops and the like. Their steamy two-year love affair ended in the summer of 2010, with recent rumblings surfacing that Kanye may be jealous of Amber’s current beau rapper Wiz Khalifa – although Wiz himself declared he has no issue with Yeezy.

2010-present – Kanye has been linked with a host of women since his split with Amber Rose. Busty model Shay the UK Bombshell has been linked with the rapper although much has never been made of the rumor. Reality star Kim Kardashian has also been a rumored fling for ‘Ye. Swimsuit model Kate Upton and now French actress Virginie Maury who seems to be Kanye’s current focus as pictures exploded on the tabloids and blogs of Yeezy locking lips with the blonde beauty. The same day the photos of his make out session with Kate hit the Internet, Kanye was also rumored to be hooking up with Miss Universe Albania Angela Martini.

Hard to keep up with that Kanye, isn’t it?

Cassidy Arrested For Being Suspected Of Mulitple Murders

HACKENSACK – City police arrested a hip-hop artist Saturday who is wanted in Philadelphia, authorities said.
The Philadelphia Police warrant squad called the Hackensack Police Department on Saturday morning to tell officers there was an open warrant for Hackensack resident Barry Reese, also known as the rapper Cassidy, Hackensack police Lt. Timothy Lloyd said.

The warrant was for violating probation, but Reese is also a suspect in a murder and two attempted murders in Philadelphia, Lloyd said.
Philadelphia police knew from a prior investigation that the rapper lived in Hackensack, Lloyd said.
Philadelphia police told their Hackensack counterparts “to consider this person armed and dangerous,” and this was a “high-risk warrant,” Lloyd said.
Officers from the Hackensack Police Emergency Response Team and the police department’s juvenile bureau watched Reese’s home Saturday on Reilly Court, Lloyd said.
Reese left his house about 1:30 p.m. and was followed by police to a local convenience store, Lloyd said.
An undercover ERT officer went in the store and positively identified Reese, he said.
When Reese came out of the store, “the ERT units moved in and conducted a felony motor vehicle stop,” Lloyd said.
Reese “was very surprised,” Lloyd said. The officers who arrested the rapper “did an outstanding job,” he said. “Without the proper teamwork going on, this could have spiraled out of control quickly.”
No one was injured in the arrest, Lloyd said.
Reese, 28, will be brought to the Bergen County Jail Annex to await extradition to Philadelphia, Lloyd said.
Cassidy’s most well-known single is 2005’s “I’m a Hustla,” which reached No. 8 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop charts.

Nas Wins An Emmy ... Before A Grammy?

After nine albums, millions of records sold, a handful of mixtapes, countless tour dates and being labeled as arguably the nicest MC to ever grip the microphone, Queens rapper Nas recently won a prestigious award for ... a film.

The Braveheart poet recently snagged a National Sports Emmy for his ESPN documentary, "Survival 1." The ESPN short, directed, narrated and produced by Esco is based on the Liberian Amputee Soccer team. The squad of players grabbed national headlines as the majority of the players were victims of a civil war in Libya that injured millions of natives.

News of the award caught Nas himself by surprise, who noted that he managed to secure such a major accomplishment as an Emmy before receiving a Grammy after almost two decades in the rap game.

"After all these years of making music, I am honored to have this be the first award I ever won of this magnitude," Nas said. "An Emmy before a Grammy. Crazy [bleep]."

Any Nas fan or Hip-Hop head would strongly back the Queensbridge MC's shock. Nas has been nominated for Grammys on a few occasions but in none of the former events did he walk away with the prized trophy.

Nas' Emmy comes just days after pal Jay-Z also snagged a similar award.

The Brooklyn rapper won a Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Composition/ Direction/ Lyrics for Hova’s rendition of “Run This Town.” Earlier this year Hov performed the song during this year’s Super Bowl XLIV opener.

Dr. Dre Drops New Detox Teaser Clip Featuring Eminem, Fans React

Is Dr. Dre’s Detox album coming soon? If not, a new teaser track will surely satiate some fans for now.

Dre’s final album has been talked about for years with two official singles dropping so far in “Kush” featuring Snoop Dogg and Akon and “I Need A Doctor” with Eminem and Skylar Grey serving as co-stars. The good doctor's latest track from his third studio opus, “Die Hard,” premiered last night (May 6) during cable network Showtime’s documentary pre-fight series finale Fight Camp 360° featuring sluggers Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao and “Sugar” Shane Mosley – who both battle it out tonight (May 7) for Pac-Man’s WBO World Welterweight title.

With the visuals of the fighters training hard on the show during the song’s big reveal, Dre sounds rejuvenated and hungry – even teasing in his bars he may continue beyond his much ballyhooed retirement from recording. “My life is like a highlight reel/Some might consider this my twilight but depending how I might feel/I might continue on with my career for 5 light years,” raps a confident sounding Dre. Em delivers a fitting and boisterous chorus with, “I sit into the wee hours of the night, then we don't stop until the sunlight/ We just keep going 'cause the die-hard won't go down without a fight.”

Fans reacted in droves to the audio clip around the Web with a lot of fans in support of the aggressive Dre banger with a few requisite detractors. A commenter on website Rap Radar said, "I [thought] we would get the full song [tonight], but this snippet is straight fire !” while another enthusiastic fan added, “This is kinda dope. You got lyricism, a memorable hook and a beat that makes you want to work out. It’s gonna be a hit.”

Twitter fans also chimed in with kind words. “Dre and Em have a musical chemistry unrivaled in present day hip hop. These leaks make me optimistic about Detox again,” tweeted @KarmaSerene. Fan @MIA_Tony_17 could barely contain his glee with, “sooooo anybody know if and where the full version of "dr. dre ft eminem - die hard" can be be found? Song is too sick must have it now!” However, not everyone was as enthused about the track. “New Dr Dre's Die Hard ft Eminem is another Masterpiece of s--t! Well done! #Detox,” tweeted @dadounet91.

Sleek Audio Walks Away From Deal With 50 Cent

Just a few months back mogul 50 Cent announced he was adding another product to his G-Unit brand, getting in on the highly successful headphones business developing his own line called "Sleek by 50." Fast forward weeks later, today it was announced by company manufacturer Sleek Audio that they've decided to immediately terminate their agreement between Sleek Audio LLC ("Sleek") and G-Unit Brands, Inc. ("G-Unit").

"We will be re-evaluating our Wireless Hybrid over-the-ear headphones at a later date" the press release from the company read. "Currently we are working to bring our new, U.S.-made in-ear products to the market."

Following the announcement of 50's headphone deal word began to circulate that Dr. Dre and boss Jimmy Iovine weren't the happiest with Fif's latest business venture, which puts them in direct competition with him and they're "Beats By Dre" brand.

Back in February, 50 Cent claimed that Interscope boss Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre were upset with the budding mogul over his new headphone line Sleek, seen as a direct competitor to Dre’s Beats By Dre line. In a later story, Dre claimed to have never heard of 50’s headphones saying he had “no idea” that there was an issue between the pair.

50 explained to Vibe that the tweet was his unconventional way to get Dr. Dre’s attention. “I have a strong personality, a strong character. And I can be difficult to deal with at certain points because I’m vocal. If you upset Em, he’s just gonna not talk to you. You’re not going to get him in the next room you wanna get him in," shared 50. He went on to say, “With Dre, the same. He’s not comfortable with friction. That [tweet] is, “Hey look, I’m here. Is everybody still paying attention?” So they go, “Why he say that? Why he say we mad?” Then the meeting happens.

T.I's Business Partner Talks About Grand Hustle Going Out of Business

T.I.'s business partner Jason Geter addressed the future of Grand Hustle since there were rumors that the label would be shutting down.

Jason set the record straight & explained that like any other business, when the supply & demand of a business is in jeopardy the best thing to do is downsize until other variables increase revenue. In an interview with Billboard, Jason says:

"Number one, Grand Hustle is definitely not dismantled, we unfortunately did downsize [on staff] & relocate. We’re doing business, just in a lighter way. A smarter way, due to our current situation.

We don’t have much business to do, not much going on, why pay people when unfortunately there’s not much going on? Same thing that the major labels are doing, it’s no different. Supply & demand, at the end of the day. It’s just the way of the business.

It’s no secret we’ve taken hits, back to back, with Tip’s absence [serving out his prison term]. We’re partners, we talk about everything, no matter if he’s in or he’s out. It’s Grand Hustle, so we communicate with one another."
